. Graduate from The Ohio State University, B S Degree.
. Served in the United States Army with an Honorable Discharge.
. Promoted though several levels of IBM management within ten years.
. #1 Real Estate Company in listings & sales in 70’s, all types.
. #1 Multi-Office real estate chain in Dutchess County in 70’s, with 15 managers and over 100 sales persons producing the largest number of both residential & commercial listings.
. #1 Night Club: Matt built & managed in the area for two years while planning the Real Estate Company he had a goal to become #1
. # 1 Real Estate Franchise with many offices in Hudson Valley, NY.
. #1 Sales Person twice in the country in NASE Health
. First to form a national real estate franchise company in Hudson Valley, N.Y. As a member of the national franchise, ERA, he conducted classes and gave inspiring motivational speeches to hundreds of sales persons. Several of his students became millionaires in real estate investments.
. Matt also built a Construction division, Property management division with 100’s of apartments, relocation division, etc.
. His company, Jordan Counseling & Funding brokered mortgages and performed counseling for companies in trouble, helping them to streamline procedures, improve, hiring, training, budgeting, marketing, and bottom line profits.
. First to form an ATM company in the Hudson Valley, NY placing machines in convenient locations in early 90’s. His vision saw the handwriting on the wall and now they are everywhere.
LEADERSHIP, TEACHING, SPEAKING
Matt was always the leader or officer of any organization he was a member of starting in high school where he was president of the Poughkeepsie High School band all four years.
In college, he was the treasurer of his fraternity. He was a member and a past president of the local musicians association.
He also served as an officer in the Dutchess County Board of Realtors’ Multiple Listing group.
He has taught many classes and has delivered many motivational speeches to large groups and has appeared on TV & radio shows.
He participated in community groups such as Dutchess County’s first Business Search Committee, started by then president, Dr. John Connelly at the Dutchess County Community College.
FIRST REALTOR PUBLISHED in Dutchess County, New York in the “National Institute of Real Estate Brokers” magazine, “Real Estate Today,” titled, “How to Plan and Monitor a Budget,” and had many other articles published in various newspapers and publications. He completed the study of writing at the Writer’s Digest School.
